The idea was to get a <a href=\"http:\/\/www.asus.com\/Eee\/Eee_Pad\/Eee_Pad_Transformer_TF101\/\">Asus Transformer<\/a> which is a <a href=\"http:\/\/www.nvidia.com\/object\/tegra-2.html\">Nvidia Tegra 2<\/a> based tablet.<\/p>\n<p>The <a href=\"http:\/\/www.engadget.com\/2011\/01\/24\/nvidia-tegra-3-equipped-with-1-5ghz-quad-core-madness-teased-b\/\">Nvidia Tegra 3<\/a> is the new Quadcore processor from Nvidia in the Tegra series and the next Asus Transformer will be sporting this processor.<\/p>\n<p>The <a href=\"http:\/\/www.androidguys.com\/2011\/08\/18\/asus-transformer-2-feature-kal-el\/?utm_source=feedburner&amp;utm_medium=feed&amp;utm_campaign=Feed%3A+androidguyscom+%28AndroidGuys%29\">AndroidGuys<\/a> wrote about this and I quote<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>There has been constant speculation about which device will feature the new quad-core processor from Nvidia. The first device was\u00a0suppose\u00a0to launch in August\u00a0although\u00a0will now be pushed back\u00a0until\u00a0possibly early 2012. The Transformer is already one of the most unique\u00a0<a id=\"KonaLink0\" href=\"http:\/\/www.androidguys.com\/2011\/08\/18\/asus-transformer-2-feature-kal-el\/?utm_source=feedburner&amp;utm_medium=feed&amp;utm_campaign=Feed%3A+androidguyscom+%28AndroidGuys%29\">Android<\/a>\u00a0tablets and with the addition of Kal El it will become the most powerful.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>Current speculation is that this new Asus Transformer 2 will come in at the same price point as the current Asus Transformer tablet. \u00a0So it looks like I have to wait a bit in getting that tablet.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>I think I am going to hold off a bit in getting my Android based tablet.
